The Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship (or the VEF) was founded in 1938 by ministers from across the state of Virginia in order to offer resources to improve leadership and develop community among congregations. The directors of VEF work directly with preachers, associate ministers, worship leaders, and church planters, providing them with opportunities for accountability, leadership growth, learning, and peer-to-peer contact. Kingdom Equation is a opportunity designed to be accessible to anyone wanting to contribute to the growth of the Kingdom of Christ. The directors of VEF believe that by making the financial support of Kingdom growth accessible to believers of any economic standing (by only asking for $20, twice a year) that more people will be able to give, adding up to an even larger number of church plants that can be financed. The equation looks something like this:The Kingdom Equation is not just a way for another organization to get money. Even if you are not able to give, we still want to provide you with the opportunity to connect with the exciting stories that are taking place across the state of Virginia. This website is designed to be a portal of constantly updated information that will allow you to see where the money donated to the Kingdom Equation is going. We want you to be an active part of what the VEF, Virginia Vision, and the Kingdom Equation is doing to help reach the lost for Christ.

Virginia Vision is a branch of the Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship. Launched in 1989, the focus of Virginia Vision is to plant dynamic new churches in high growth areas of Virginia where there is a severe lack of church attendance. The “vision” is that by offering new and creative venues for non-believers to encounter worship for the first time, more hearts will be touched by the love of Christ.

In its 20 years of existence, Virginia Vision has financed and helped plant 19 new churches, with several more in the planning and development processes. Virginia Vision’s new churches average over 300 in attendance and celebrate another 250+ conversions each year!

Now, in an effort to raise funds for even more exciting church plants, the directors of VEF have developed the “Kingdom Equation”.
